Superformula has built a strong reputation as a digital transformation partner for top brands around the world and we're looking for an experienced Technical Recruiter to join and support our engineering, design, and product recruiting efforts.

We are looking for someone who has a passion for people, recruiting, and loves the details. We have successfully recruited and hired candidates in the past through shared responsibilities, but we're at a growth stage now that requires help from someone dedicated and focused exclusively on recruiting.

The right person will operate with ownership and initiative for all-things-recruiting, as they research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and hiring strategies to attract highly-skilled strong culture fits for the organization. You'll be wearing many hats, should be comfortable getting into the weeds, and not afraid to ask questions and optimize flows.

This is an individual contributor role that reports to the Managing Director.  You will be responsible for:

  • Creating recruiting plans that communicate an effective strategy for attracting talent
  • Partnering with the hiring manager to establish JDs and a solid screening process 
  • Working with multiple sourcing platforms (and help us understand which ones are best!)
  • Attracting talent by performing targeted outreach on niche platforms (AngelList, TripleByte, or others)
  • Conducting initial interviews to identify strong culture fits (and a plus if you can assess software engineers for technical fit!)
  • Executing the job pipeline by keeping it moving in a timely manner
  • Reporting on the progress and health of recruiting pipelines with data
  • Keep up-to-date with new technological trends and products

Job requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Technical Recruiter or Recruiter, ideally for staffing agencies
  • Hands-on experience with various interview formats (e.g. phone, Zoom, and structured)
  • Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles (including web backend & front-end, mobile, native, flutter, design, and product management).
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
  • Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting and Boolean search)
  • Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
